I guess most of you heard about this recent story, an Austrian woman having been kept locked in a cellar by her father. And I won’t delve into other aspects of it.

Not me to talk about such things usually, but here it made me think twice. Of course, this is extreme. Now, how many people do we tend to keep locked up in some kind of mild cellar? Call it jealousy, control, influence, possessiveness, domination, manipulation, whatever...

Aya, because human nature is not that simple... At the same time, we can be both perpetrators and victims. Don’t we allow others to lock ourselves up in a golden cage? For a bit of love, a speck of appraisal, a kind word awaited?

Can’t we let and be free for real? Damn it!!!
